The Smithville

This bed is what we call a Smithville style. This bed was named after the small town of Smithville which used to be a regular stop of the Deadwood Trail. This bed has a straight log for the top of the headboard and also the top of the footboard. The style pictured above is a queen size with a double log frame and it has 6" posts. This particular bed has 7 rungs/spindles in the headboard and footboard. Our standard bed only includes 5 rungs/spindles. 
The standard bed set includes: the headboard, footboard, and a single log bed frame. 
Double log bed frames are an additional $150.

* Bed Kits  for the do it your yourself. A kit is: the logs with tenons and holes. You assemble, sand, and finish. 

The Pothook

The Pothook style is the more rustic look. The Pothook bed gets it's name from a location along the river called the "Pothook". The Pothook curve separates the old town of Smithville and Cow Creek Ranch. Our craftsmen use a unique curved piece for the top piece of the headboard. This piece is hand peeled. The bed pictured above is a king size with a double log frame and 5" posts. The standard Pothook bed set includes: the headboard, footboard, and a single log bed frame. Double log bed frames are also available for an additional $150.

Bunk Beds

Our bunk beds can be handcrafted with cedar or cottonwood. You may also choose between 4" posts or 5" posts. As you can see the ladder on the bed can be placed any where you would like it.  Our standard ladder is placed at the head and also the foot of the bed. Both of the bunk beds at the top are cedar and have 5" posts. The bed at the left does not have a finish yet and the bed at the right does. These bunk beds are available with a twin size on the top and a full size on the bottom and can be made in an extra long bunk bed. They are also available in a log kit. Little Tykes Bunk Bed

Sometimes what you are looking for is a bed that is a little smaller for your younger generation. This bed is the perfect answer. The ladder on this bed can be put any place you would like. It is also handcrafted with a railing  on top and bottom to help keep you little ones safe. This bed is handcrafted with cedar and has 4" posts.

We cut, drill, and tenon the ends then, you sand it and finish it yourself. Your kit will include: the headboard, footboard, and a single log frame. Your bunk bed Kit will include everything you see in the above pictures.
