HORSE CAMPING

Camp under the cottonwood trees along the Cheyenne River less than a quarter mile from the old town of Smithville, one of the first three towns in Dakota Territory.

Travel parts of the Deadwood Trail as you trail ride over 20,000 plus acres of beautiful river breaks.

We are within a hour and a half from the Black Hills and 30 minutes from Badlands National Park.
Cow Creek Ranch is 22 miles from I90 and 17 miles from a mail box but we feel like that is great thing and not a bad thing .

Campsites are with out electricity.

There is an arena to let your horses run and roll a little.

Steel panel pens next to camp sites.

Cedar bedding and hay for sale at ranch.

Air conditioned Bed and Breakfast bunkhouse if you don't want to camp.

We are 22 miles off of I90 at the end of the road, but we feel that is are biggest attraction.

Shower is available in bunkhouse.

Prices: $20 camping $10 per horse.
